This exquisite 2.5 storey conservation shophouse, situated minutes from Chinatown MRT and Telok Ayer MRT stations, sits at the heart of historic Chinatown and is one of the few remaining First Transitional style shophouses along Mosque Street.

Mosque Street is named after Masjid Jamae (Chulia), which is situated near the junction of Mosque Street and South Bridge Road’s entrance. Established in 1826, Masjid Jamae was constructed on its current site by the Chulia community – also known as Indian Muslims – between 1830 and 1835. On 19 November 1974, it was the oldest of five mosques gazetted as national monuments in Singapore.
