This 4-storey conservation shophouse is a prime commercial asset located in one of Singapore’s most coveted districts. It is conveniently located within walking distance from Clarke Quay and Raffles Place MRT Stations. This shophouse features the innovative use of concrete fins and air vents on its façade as functional and decorative elements inspired by the Modern Art Deco Style. The well-proportioned windows complement the façade giving it a familiar geometric design.

Originally, Hongkong Street used to be part of the red-light district in the “Greater Town” area, along with North Canal Road, Upper Hokkien, Chin Chew and Chin Hin Streets from 1850-80. Located adjacent to Boat Quay, it formed part of the centre of trading along the Singapore River. The district owes its unique charm and character to the warehouses and shophouses. Hongkong Street history dates back to the early 19th century when it was named after the British colony of Hong Kong.
